Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
HiddenHello lets people connect using six-character IDs. This page is a plain-language summary and should be reviewed against the actual deployment and applicable law before launch.
Information used to operate the app
HiddenHello uses an anonymous authentication session and a chat profile ID to support conversations. When you send a message or photo, the content and associated technical metadata may be stored by our service provider to operate the app.
Message and photo visibility
Messages and photos are hidden from the chat interface after 10 minutes. Hiding an item from view does not mean that the database record or stored photo is permanently deleted. Do not send passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information.
Sharing and access
Conversations are designed for the two participants. Access controls are intended to restrict chat access, but no online service can promise absolute security. The service may process technical information needed for authentication, reliability, and security.
Retention and deletion
Chat records and uploaded photos may be retained in storage after they disappear from the interface. This policy does not currently promise a user-facing deletion mechanism. A final retention and deletion policy should be published once the operator's practices and contact details are confirmed.
Contact
Add a monitored support email and the operator's legal contact details before publicly launching this policy.
